It is possible to access the data stored on your network drive via an android device. To connect to your network drive you’ll need the “Cx File Explorer” from the Play Store.

ATTENTION: You can only access your network drive while connected to the university network eg. the University-WiFi “eduroam”. If you want to access your network drive from outside the university network you will have to use a “VPN”.
Open the app and accept the privacy policy.
Afterwards accept the access request to allow the app to manage and access the files on your device.
Now the user-interface should look like this. Tap on the “network button” and then on the “plus-icon” to add a network drive.
Tap on “remote” and then choose “SMB”.
Now the window shown below should appear. To connect your personal network drive type in the following information:
Host:
smb://userdata.uni-ak.ac.at/ad-userdata/pxxxxxxx
Username:
Your p-number (pxxxxxxx)
Password:
Your p-number password
Your network drive should now appear in the “network” tab in the form of a new icon.
