MitarbeiterInnen, Studierende, Organisationseinheiten,… an der Angewandten erhalten automatisch einen Account mit einer Mailbox. Das Ändern des Passwortes, und der Weiterleitung erfolgt über eine Webmaske auf den [Service-Seiten](http://service.uni-ak.ac.at/) der Angewandten. --- To receive and read emails an account is required with a user name (p000xxxx/s0xxxxxx) and a password . Staff, students, organizational units, … automatically get an account with a mailbox. You can change the password and forwarding address via a web mask on [service.uni-ak.ac.at](http://service.uni-ak.ac.at/) ### Mail-Adresse / Mail-Address Eine E-Mail Adresse besteht aus zwei Teilen, die durch das at-Zeichen (@) verbunden werden. Der Teil vor dem @ ist Ihr User-Name. Der Teil nach dem @ spezifiziert die Organisationsstruktur. --- An email address consists of two parts separated by the at sign (@). The part before the @ is your user name. Dieser Alias kann, falls notwendig, vom [ZID](https://www.dieangewandte.at/universitaet/organisation/planung_service_und_verwaltung/it_digitalisierung/zentraler_informatikdienst) geändert werden. Der Zentrale Informatikdienst der Universität für Angewandte Kunst Wien ist berechtigt E-Mail Aliasse die anstößig oder unangemessen sind ohne Rückfrage zu löschen. --- When setting up your account there is an automatically created default e-mail address of the alias “firstname.lastname @ uni-ak.ac.at”. This alias, if necessary can be changed on by the [ZID](https://www.dieangewandte.at/en/university/organisation/strategy_service_and_administration/it_digitisation/central_computing_services_zid). Please contact the Helpdesk ([helpdesk@uni-ak.ac.at](mailto:helpdesk@uni-ak.ac.at)) if you want to make any changes to your Alias. The IT service of the University of Applied Arts Vienna is authorized to delete email aliases that are offensive or inappropriate without asking. ### Weiterleitung / Forwarding an E-Mail Man kann die eigenen E-Mails von der UNI an eine andere E-Mail-Adresse automatisch weiterleiten (das ist sehr praktisch, vor allem in den Ferien!).
